During the past time, Union of Economic Zone (UEZ) has been interested in managing, caring and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of workers, especially proposed enterprises’ leaders to successfully conduct the implementation for policy regime relating to workers. Thus, the relationship between workers and businesses has been harmoniously improving.

Thanks to the attention, caring and protecting rights and legitimate interests of trade bases affiliated union, workers in the industrial zone (IZ) in the province have positively responded to the patriotic movement, enthusiastically participating in production, taking many initiatives to promote technical innovation … Thereby, workers have created quality products, contributing to businesses’ solving problems, enhancing investment, expansion production with highly effective scale.
Mr. To Van Khai, Vice president of UEZ said, “The unit collaborated with authorized state agencies to strengthen inspecting, testing, monitoring the implementation of Labor Code, Trade Union Law and policy regimes related to workers. Simultaneously proposed businesses’ leaders to timely solve requirements, legitimate aspirations of workers, ensuring rights and legitimate interests of workers, not let happen over-ranking complaints and denunciations. Besides, trade union bases usually visit union members, workers, officials at illnes, meeting tribulation, birthdays, hospitality; actively cooperating with businesses to organize free medical check-up for workers, in particular on holidays and Tet occasions … ”
As for Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoa, President of Eyeglasses Basic Union, Hoa Hiep Industrial Zone (Dong Hoa district), “During the past time, UEZ often coordinated with the Provincial policy and legislation Board of Labor Federation and authorities to organize direction, free legal advice for workers with contents related to rights, obligations and interests of workers, especially the Labor Code, Laws on Social Insurance, Health Insurance… to help workers better understand their rights and obligations; workers have become very confident with the role of trade unions. In the coming time, UEZ should focus on instructing, training contents, policies conducive to staff and workers to convince business owners”.
