The reason was that the workers did not agree to the payment time of the company’s At Mui Tet (Lunar New Year of the Goat) bonuses.

As reported, the company has not applied the new basic salary level to the workers, overtime exceeds 30 hours/ week, the quality of meals supported by the company has not been guaranteed, and diligence bonuses of workers taking leave are still docked.
Right on the morning of the same day, representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs and Cam Giang district Division of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs came to work with the business owner to find a settlement direction.
Mr. Lee Sulghoo, Production Manager of the company, promised to fix the problems above in the shortest time. Because of many present difficulties, the company pledged to pay Tet bonuses to the workers on February 26.
