Businesses in Hanoi and HCM City are getting into the spirit of Valentine’s Day on February 14, offering packages and gift ideas aimed at lovers wanting to do something memorable for their special someone.
“Taking Care of Your Lover” service brings a romantic space for couples
A birthday party company in HCM City has launched a new service “Taking Care of Your Lover”, and has had dozens of bookings for its VND2-4m (USD95.2-190) decoration packages and advice on flowers, romantic cards and intimate venues so couples can celebrate their love.
Other companies are offering VIP gift-delivery services, with staff dressed as angels delivering presents, for a fee of VND1m.
In Hanoi and HCM City, shops are getting large numbers of orders for handmade gifts, such as twin pillows embroidered with the words “I love you”, “I need you” and “Don’t stay up late”. Pillows with intertwined names, hearts and flowers are among top choices, as well as stuffed animal toys, mostly cuddly bears.
