PANO – The Kinh Bac Cultural Center on March 7th held a ceremony to receive the title “Special National Relic” for the imperial tombs of the Ly Dynasty and the historical architecture relic of Phat Tich Pagoda.
At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam presented the certificates recognizing the two sites as the special national relics to Bac Ninh province.

The relic of the imperial tombs of the Ly Dynasty is situated in Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son town. This is a place for people to worship kings of the Ly Dynasty for their contribution to the civilization of Dai Viet, including the Do Temple, which is the imperial temple for the ancestors of the Ly Dynasty, and tombs of the kings of the Ly Dynasty.
Phat Tich Pagoda in Tien Du district, built under the reign of King Ly Nhan Tong, has been a center of Buddhism of the whole country for thousands of years. This is the place where kings and mandarins often came to pray for peace, happiness, and prosperity for the country and people.
At the ceremony, an art program titled “Back to the Land of Quan Ho Folk Singing” 2015 was also held, bringing melodious singing to the audience, reliving historical events and glorious victories of the former generations. The program aimed to promote the preservation of the intangible cultural heritage of Quan Ho folk singing.
