PANO – About 400 units of blood were donated by 400 officers, troops and staff of Military School of Military Zone 3 during a drive jointly organized by the school and Military Central Hospital 108 on March 20th.
The blood will be stored in Central Hospital 108 for treating officers, troops and locals.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Quat, the school’s Headmaster reaffirmed the importance of blood donation in saving people’s lives. He said that over the past years, the school has well carried out education and dissemination work to call on active participation of officers, teachers, trainees and volunteers to join the meaningful activity. Since 2011, the school in association with the hospital has collected around 2,000 units of blood through many drives.
