PANO – The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) kicked off the 2015 National Women’s Football Championship-Thai Son Bac Cup, on March 5th in Ho Chi Minh City.
Seven teams, including the defending champion Hanoi 1, the runner-up Phong Phu-Ha Nam, Vietnam Coal and Mineral, Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi 2 and Tao Dan, will compete in a double round robin format in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Nam province.
The first-leg round is held from March 5th to 26th, and the second-leg from June 21st to July 12th. The winner will get a champion cup and VND 300 million in cash.
Some of the tournament’s matches will be broadcast live on VTV6 of the Vietnam Television.
