Scene of the get-together
The provincial Women’s Union Association held a get-together with women as units’ leaders in the province on the occasion of 105th anniversary of International Women’s Day (8 March 1910-2015).
Attending the meeting were Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Van Minh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Quang Thich, Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh, and female leaders from departments and associations in the province.
In recent years, women in the province have constantly strived and improved themselves; many women have assumed the important positions in the society. Female leaders have grown both in quantity and quality.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Van Minh sent his best wishes to the women on the occasion of International Women’s Day; meanwhile to praise and recognized the contributions of female leaders to the general development of the province.

He also hoped them continue to overcome difficulties, affirming their leadership in the completion of assigned tasks, give more contributions to the units and organizations.
Minh recommended women unions at all levels continue to promote the propaganda, popularizing education on gender equality; expand effective models; interested in the lives of women in mountainous and difficult areas across the province.
