Cadets of the Political University donate their blood



PANO – The Political University and Ho Chi Minh City on March 1st kicked off the Youth Month 2015, launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.


During the month, the university targets to hold various activities, including talks on the tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the responsibility of the youth, dissemination activities on the tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, training and discipline.


The university set targets to have 100% of the youth strictly abide by military discipline and regulations of the university, 100% of the youth pass examinations with 85% earning distinction and credit grades, and 100% of the youth good at training. Youth union branches of the unit well carry out youth, charity, exchange, and sports activities with twinned units and local youth union branches.


After the launch, the youth of the university, together with twinned units, joined the voluntary blood donation program, contributing 350 blood units.


* In Ho Chi Minh City, more than 5,000 youth union members, students and youngsters of military units in the locality launched activities to open the Youth Month 2015.


During the month, participants will join various activities, including vocational and job promotion, social security provision, greening the city in face of climate change, and cleaning and clearing roads, streets, canals, and crime prevention.


The city’s district youth union branches have also registered for building a youth work in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30th).
