Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City celebrated a ceremony on March 7, aiming to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Vietnam (Feb 8th, 1950- 2015) and the 137th anniversary of Bulgaria’s liberation (Mar 3rd, 1878- 2015).

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations in Ho Chi Minh City Le Hung Quoc reviewed the long term friendship traditional relations between Vietnam and Bulgaria.
During the previous decades, two countries have incessantly strengthened the traditional relationship. Particularly, Vietnam and Bulgaria have kicked off high- ranking meetings and signed major cooperative agreements.
In the recent years, two countries’ two ways trade turnover has constantly increased from 15 to 20 percent each year.
