PANO – The Hanoi Capital High Command held an inauguration ceremony for its new headquarters on April 18th.
It was part of the command’s activities to mark the 40th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30th 1975-2015).
The project, that began three years ago on an area of 1,340sq.m, includes a 25-storey building and a sports training centre, a library, roads and grass carpets, and others.
General Phung Quang Thanh, Minister of National Defence, underlined that it was a major project of the whole army in general and of the Hanoi Capital High Command in particular, and urged the unit to effectively manage and exploit the new headquarters, which would benefit its troops in carrying out their assigned tasks.
