The daily temperature in the area of Ho Chi Minh City and southeast region will increase sharply, with the highest temperature of 36- 37 degrees Celsius on April 8- 9. City residents have to find many ways to avoid the heat. The hot weather is dangerous for children and increase risk of disease outbreak. The City Health Department reported that the number of chicken pox cases, hand-foot-and mouth cases… has sharply increased.
Meanwhile, the current weather in the northern and central provinces turns cooler, additionally, a cold front is predicted to hit the Northern provinces within next days, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday.
Because of the influence of the cold front, northern and north central provinces will see showery weathers, thunderstorms, cyclone, hail and strong winds in some places. The territorial water of Gulf of Tonkin, East Sea’s northern territorial water and Paracel Island will see northeast wind speed of level 6- 8.
The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center reported that storm Maysak was located at 16, 9 degrees north latitude and 121, 4 degrees east longitude towards northern territorial water of Luzon Island, later it will disappear and move into the northern territorial waters of Luzon ( Philippines ) Island.
