(VOVworld) – Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has officially declared her candidacy for President.

Clinton made the announcement in a video posted on Youtube on Monday, becoming the first Democrat to declare her candidacy for a 2016 White House bid. In the video, Clinton talks about boosting economic security for the middle class and expanding opportunities for working families, as a way to bolster US strength.
According to analysts, Clinton has no serious rival in the Democratic Party. A recent opinion poll by CNN and ORC International indicates that Clinton is 50 points ahead of potential rival, Vice President Joe Biden.
