Vice Chairwoman of Ly Son Island district people’s committee Mrs Pham Thi Huong released that a hot line will be opened to help tourists to the Island on the occasion of the National Revolution’s Day, April 30, and the International Labor’s Day, May 1.
She said it would be displayed at hotels, guest houses, restaurants, ect. in order to receive any comments of tourists.
The local government will strictly revoke business license if any restaurant, hotel, ect do not follow regulars as required, she added.
The opening of hot number aims at controlling the could-be-increased prices in the upcoming 6-day holiday when is expected to welcome a huge number of visitors to the island.
Currently, rooms on the Island have been already booked fully even though the holiday has not yet come, still one month left. Some of tours have already paid in advance.
It is reported that the island district of Ly Son has totally 12 guest houses, hotels with a total of 200 rooms that is estimated to provide spaces for 1000 people.
Besides, 20 homestays can accommodate 300 visitors.
To prepare for the significant increasing tourists to the island, the local government has been meeting with businessmen on the island and transport enterprises about the preparation, particularly the ship mobilization for the sake of transporting passengers timely.
