National Single Window for Customs Piloted

Vice Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Linh Ngoc recently met with the Information Technology Department on the progress of piloting National Single Window for Customs at the ministry in Hanoi.


According to the Prime Minister’s Decision 48/2011 dated August 31, 2011 on pilot implementation of National Single Window for Customs, the ministry drafted a joint circular on related administrative procedures for this mechanism.


Accordingly, administrative procedures to be implemented with the Single National Window on Customs include registration for export of hazardous wastes; confirmation to registration for import of hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC); confirmation to registration for import of HCFC-141b-premixed polylon; and confirmation to registration for export of HCFC. Electronic documents for the implementation of the National Single Window on Customs comprise registration documents for export of hazardous wastes; declaration documents on notification of transportation of hazardous wastes to Basel Convention agencies in importing and transiting (if any) countries in accordance with the Basel Convention; written approval to export of hazardous wastes; application documents for import of HCFC; confirmation to registration for import of HCFC for licensing or rejecting procedures on import registration confirmation; application forms for import of HCFC-141b-premixed polylon; confirmation to registration for import of HCFC-141b-premixed polylon or confirmation documents to refusal of import registration; registration for export of HCFC; confirmation to registration for export of HCFC or confirmation documents to refusal of export registration.
