(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong has left Beijing for Yunnan province as part of his on-going visit to China. Mr. Trong was warmly welcomed in Kunming by the Yunnan provincial Party Committee Secretary, the Consulate General staff, and overseas Vietnamese in Kunming. Before leaving Beijing, Mr. Trong met leaders from a number of Chinese enterprises investing in Vietnam.

At a reception for Huawei group Executives, the Party chief applauded the effective cooperation between Huawei and Vietnamese telecom companies and its support for personnel training in the field of telecommunications in Vietnam.
He said he hoped that Huawei would continue carry out more investment projects in Vietnam as a contribution to bringing economic benefits to enterprises, stimulating the Southeast Asia nation’s socio- economic development, and furthering cooperative relations between the two nations.
