Xa Tac Offering Ritual held in Hue city

PANO – The Center for Preservation of Hue Ancient Capital held the Xa Tac Offering Ritual on the early morning of April 12th in the Imperial Forbidden City, Thua Thien-Hue province, to pray for good weather, bumper crops and prosperity for the country.


The ritual, the second largest after the Nam Giao Ritual, is held biannually in spring and autumn.


Despite heavy rains, this year’s ritual was solemnly held like last year. Notably, locals took part in the ritual and offered incense till the end of the ceremony.
