More than 5,000 person took part in the launch ceremony of Ha Noi Moi (New Ha Noi) newspaper’s annual run in Ha Noi om Sunday.— Photo hanoimoi HA NOI (VNS)- More than 5,000 person took part in the launch ceremony of Ha Noi Moi (New Ha Noi) newspaper’s annual run in Ha Noi yesterday (Sunday).
The event is one of several activities to be held to mark the 68th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day on September 2, while also celebrating the 59th anniversary of Ha Noi’s liberation and the 56th anniversary of the newspaper.
Preliminary races will be organised in communes, wards and residential areas until September 15, while the final round is scheduled to kick off on October 6 with 2,000 runners taking part.
The tournament is one of many events aimed at promoting sports among local people. – VNS
