Following recent approval from Da Nang’s authorities, Viet Nam’s Sun Group will be granted land use rights over a 100,000 m2 area at the top of Ba Na Hills and 200,000 m2 at the Suoi Mo Resort and adjacent area. Both are parts of the Ba Na-Suoi Mo eco-tourism area.
In addition, the group has been allowed to reduce the length of land lots along Nguyen Tri Phuong extended street in the Hoa Xuan Eco-urban area from 40m down to 20m. It has been given the right to plan for 5m x 20m residential land lots along 15.5m wide roads.
Under the expansion project for the Green Lake coastal tourism service area and luxury eco-villas, 15ha and 50ha out of the total 282.3ha expansion area are expected to be earmarked respectively for residences and leasing purposes. The remainder will be used for protecting and extending forests.
