Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung recently approved setting up of a subsidiary of the military-run telecommunication group Viettel in the US at total investments of more than US$33 million.
Accordingly, Viettel will contribute $100,000 to the charter capital of Viettel America Company and lend nearly $33 million.
The Prime Minister ordered the Ministry of Defense to regularly supervise and check the use of State funds at the Viettel America Company, and the Ministry of Planning and Investment to grant investment license for this project.
