13 wastewater monitoring stations installed in industrial zones in Dong Nai province

The Dong Nai provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment has completed installation of 13 automatic wastewater monitoring stations in industrial zones.


The industrial zones have been installed automatic wastewater monitoring stations including Bau Xeo, Song May, Ho Nai in Trang Bom district; Amata, Loteco, Bien Hoa 2, Tam Phuoc in Bien Hoa city; Sonadezi, Go Dau in Long Thanh district; Nhon Trach 1, Nhon Trach 2, Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach Textile in Nhon Trach district.


Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuong, deputy director of the Dong Nai provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, said that the project has a total expenditure of over VND77 billion and it has been carried out since 2012. The equipment of the monitoring stations are all imported from Germany.


In May 2013, the department gave 13 stations a trial run and experts from Germany have inspected and repaired them for the last time. On July 3, the department established an inspection group and then the stations will be officially put into operation.


According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuong, the monitoring stations will regularly transmit data to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to helps the department timely discover industrial zones that treat its wastewater not meeting standard levels./.
