Photo for illustration (Source: dantri.com.vn) Ninh Thuan province has decided to invest more than VND29.7 billion for construction of Son Hai water supply system with average capacity of 1,144 cubic meters per day and night.
The project aims to provide clean water for over 9,400 people in communal subdivisions of Son Hai 1, Son Hai 2 and the resettlement areas in Phuoc Dinh commune, Thuan Nam district until 2025 with the standard of 80 liters per person per day. This is a fourth-level technical infrastructure project, constructed on an area of 1,600 square meters. The project applies the water treatment technology using chemicals to create coagulation for sedimentation, filtration and disinfection with chlorine and reach the regulated standard level.
The Son Hai water supply system is invested by the Ninh Thuan provincial Centre for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation with supporting funding from the central, provincial budget and contributed by people. The project will be completed in 2016./.
