The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province have reached an agreement on the plan to organise “four in one” event consisting of the first Vietnam – ASEAN UNESCO Heritage Festival; the Da Lat – 120-year construction and development; the fifth Da Lat Flower Festival; and the announcement of National Tourism Year of Central Highlands – Da Lat 2014. The event series mainly takes place in Da Lat City, Lam Dong province from December 27 to 31, 2013 with 16 main programmes.
The first UNESCO Vietnam – ASEAN Heritage Festival comprises some programmes like opening heritage garden and installation art for UNESCO ASEAN cultural and natural heritages; international workshop on UNESCO heritage networks in Southeast Asia, UNESCO Vietnam – ASEAN heritage carnival, and Da Lat Flower Festival.
