Trinity’s groundbreaking Rock & Pop exams for bass, drums, guitar, keyboards and vocals give rock and pop musicians the opportunity to gain accredited qualifications through performing great music from the last fifty years. The song lists for each grade are carefully chosen to develop players’ musicianship and technique.
Soul Music Academy will host exams in May and November annually with the participation of experts from Trinity College London to evaluate contestants of Classical & Jazz and Rock & Pop. Contestants aged from five years old can enter the exam which ranges from Initial to Grade 8. Those who are interested in the exam can register or participate in pre-exam courses at Soul Music Academy at 214-216 Pasteur Street, District 3.
Soul Entertainment Corporation directed by Thanh Bui, a popular judge of the ongoing The Voice Kid Vietnam 2013 contest, has four main projects namely Soul Music Academy, Soul Production, Soul Artist Development and Soul Record Label. Especially, Soul Music Academy which marked its first anniversary last week is a center to develop music potential for today’s youth.
Thanh Bui said that he aims to encourage natural music sense in learners with a modern education program where they are developed generally and are free to express themselves.
Trinity College London is an international exam board that has been providing assessments since 1877. It provides recognized qualifications in music, drama and arts activities in the English language — at all levels. Each year over 600,000 candidates in over 60 countries take a Trinity assessment and its international network is growing fast.
