In the Morning of 27 August, the professional experts of the Central Lung Hospital handed over the technique of transbronchial lung biopsy using flexible fiber optic bronchoscope to the doctors and nurses in the Quang Ngai provincial tuberculosis and lung disease.
The bronchoscopy technique is one of modern methods used in large central hospitals. Through bronchoscopy, doctors can find the lesion to diagnose diseases related to lungs and bronchi.
Said by Professor Dr. Nguyen Chi Lang, this technique should be applied in the diagnosis and treatment of lung disease because it brings high effectiveness.
Mr. Nguyen Be, director of the Quang Ngai provincial tuberculosis and lung disease said, the hospital had successfully applied this technique to diagnose 20 inpatient patients.
