The factory will annually manufacture and assemble 100,000 industrial sewing machines, repair 5,000 used sewing machines, and attract about 1,000 laborers.
Brother Machinery Vietnam Co., Ltd. (under Brother Group) is speeding up the construction progress of a factory manufacturing industrial sewing machines in Tan Truong industrial park (Cam Giang).
The whole 2.57-hectare area of the project has been leveled. The construction of the surrounding wall, foundations, and underground items has been finished.
Contractors are focusing on building production workshops on a total area of about 15,000 m2.
The factory, with a total investment of USD38 million, will annually manufacture and assemble 100,000 industrial sewing machines, repair 5,000 used sewing machines, and attract about 1,000 laborers.
The factory is expected to be officially put into operation from May 2014.
