Mr. Hoang Duc Khanh in Tan Binh ham let, Ea Ly commune, let known: “In recent years, with the state’s support in capital investment and orientation for production, my family has planted 5 ha of rubber trees, 4ha of coffee, 1 ha of two crop water rice, each year we also breed about 3 to 4 broods of pigs, some hundreds of chickens…Thanks to this, our family’s economy has been stabilized, our average annual income is some hundred millions of dongs, enough to bring up children and support their education”.
Mr. Dang Dinh Toai, chairman of Song Hinh people’s committee, let known that in the past years, the infrastructure of rural areas has been cared at the right level, the traffic system has been upgraded, the majority of traffic routes to the communes’ center have been asphalted, more than 300m of rural roads has been concreted or upgraded; the network of schools and classrooms has been invested for construction with the solidification proportion has reached 81.5%; 100% of ham lets, villages, residential areas have been supplied with electricity, with 98.5 of households using electricity; the communication network has been covered all over the residential areas; the material foundation of the units’ medical system continues to be invested for construction; the issue of lacking daily use water in some locations has been solved. The system of hydraulics has been upgraded and newly built. Currently, the entire district has 2 works, among which are 19 reservoirs and rising dams, 2 hydraulics works after hydroelectricity and 4 pumping stations with the total designed irrigation capacity of nearly 1,400ha; the number of households having T.V or radios, internet, telephones has considerably increased, contributing to enhancing the residents’ intellectual; the cultural houses of the ham lets, villages are currently being schemed and invested for construction to meet the stipulated standard.
With the target of constructing a comprehensively developed agriculture in the direction of sustainable modernization, large scale commodity production, with the high productivity and efficiency, competent for competition, ensuring at the-spot food security; constructing new rural areas with modern social-economic infrastructure; the economic structure and forms of organizing production, in close-knit connection with the rapid development in industry, service, towns under scheme; the society and the countryside are stable, rich in the nation’s cultural features; improved the intellectual standard of the people, the ecological environment is protected; the political system in the rural areas under the leadership of the Party is enhanced. Nonstop improve the material life, as well as the spiritual life of the rural residents, harmoniously develop among the regions, creating the faster shift in the regions with lots of remaining difficulties; farmers are trained with production ability, with fundamental capability to be the master of the new rural areas.
