A donation of 20 water construction works for some schools and local families in the two districts of Binh Son and Son Tinh has been released by representatives of Sembcorp in its Wednesday meeting with Vice-chairman of Quang Ngai provincial people’s committee Pham Nhu So.
Sembcorp – a leading corporation in Singapore, a top foreign investor in Quang Ngai, has been pushing investment formalities for the 2 billion USD -1,200 MW thermo power plant in Dung Quat Economic Zone, where is home to the over 600 ha-Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park scheduled to start its construction in September 13.
As planned, the sponsor will build 10 construction works for two districts in 2013 and full undertaken works will be completed by 2014.
