PANO – Andrea Raffaseder, a member from the Vamed Group’s Executive Board and Managing Director of Vamed Engineering, highly appreciated the Vietnam Ministry of National Defence for efficient use of ODA from Austria in health, during her courtesy visit to Senior Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Defence, on September 19th at the Headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence.

At the reception, the Vietnamese general highly spoke of Vamed Group’s assistance to the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence in improving military hospitals and vocational training schools, contributing to enhancing the friendship between two Governments and two peoples.
So far, Austria has been the only country granting ODA to the Vietnam Ministry of National Defence. Regarding Project ODA15, effectively carried out by Vamed Group, with a focus on Vietnam’s military hospitals, the Vietnamese general hoped that the two sides would continue their close cooperation in this project.
For her part, Ms. Andrea Raffaseder said that she would call for more preferential capital from relevant organs of the Government of Austria, with an aim to expand investment cooperation as proposed by the Vietnamese side, especially in waste treatment, environmental hygiene, and equipment provision for search and rescue centres.
