PANO – Colonel Ha Manh Tuong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN), on September 26th received a delegation of the Press and Information Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), led by its Director Jong Tong Hak, on their working visit to Vietnam.
Welcoming them to the PAN’s headquarters, Colonel Ha Manh Tuong briefed the guests on the PAN’s development since its foundation and stressed PAN’s leading role among the political newspapers of Vietnam.
He also said that thanks to updated information about DPRK, its people and socio-economic development provided by the DPRK’s Embassy in Vietnam, the PAN has effectively informed its readers about the DPRK, as well as the fruitful traditional friendship between the two countries.
Colonel Ha Manh Tuong hoped that the PAN will receive more updated information from DPRK in the time to come.
For his part, Mr. Jong Tong Hak expected the PAN will continue posting precise information relating to DPRK, the fruitful bilateral cooperation between the two peoples and two armies. He hoped that the PAN’s cadres and reporters will have a chance to visit DPRK to find out more about today DPRK’s socio-economic development.
