All units were required to basically complete their exercise plans by Sept 25th. Accordingly, the Engineering Arm completely directed the building of training grounds for exercises in response to structure collapse, chemical incidents, search and rescue (SAR), emergency relief and field hospitals.

Relevant units should also put into operation their steering centres before October 2nd, while conducting their own exercises from September 20th to 30th so as to take part in a joint exercise from October 1st to 10th and the final rehearsal on October 17th. On October 22nd, these units will exercise with teams from ASEAN countries and be ready for the official exercise on October 23rd.

To get these done, participating units have been trying their best to complete assigned missions.

The ARDEX13, a large-scale exercise with the participation of more than 2,000 people demonstrates Vietnam’s status, image and its capability to collaborate with other ASEAN forces to conduct emergency response work and disaster relief.
