General Department of Logistics assesses cadres’ capabilities

PANO – The General Department of Logistics opened a competition for 238 logistics-related cadres of divisions and naval regions on September 16th to assess their abilities and skills, as well as draw experiences to well carry out logistics work in the time to come.

During the five-day event, held in Military Zone 3, participants will compete in a multiple choice test on awareness of logistics work, essay-writing, setting up and reporting a combat logistics plan, and K54 shooting lessons 1 and 5.


Directing the competition, Deputy Minister of Defence Senior Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc lauded the military logistics sector for their remarkable accomplishments in caring for troops.


He stressed that the competition is one of the measures to improve professionalism and training quality, contributing to building a strong logistics sector to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern army.


He also asked the participants to improve their skills and capabilities, and well apply the experiences drawn from the event in the real situation of each unit.
