On September 27th, at Kaya Hotel (Tuy Hoa city), Phu Yen tourism association held the first congress, term 2013-2018.

Phu Yen tourism association was established under Decision numbered 1376/QD-UBND by the PPC Chairman. At the congress, the members discussed to approve the regulations; propose directions, tasks for the term 2013-2018 in order to help the businessmen community operating in tourism sector to develop more, to contribute to promote the locality’s comprehensive social-economic development.
The executive board was elected with 15 members, including 1 chairman, 3 vice chairmen. The chairman is Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, former director of Phu Yen department of internal affairs, the vice director cum general secretary is Mr. Vo Khanh Ngoc, deputy director of Phu Yen center for culture and promotion (the provincial department of culture-sports-tourism).
