PANO – The second Thai Nguyen Tea Festival will be organised in Ho Nui Coc Tourism Area and tea growing localities in Thai Nguyen province from November 8th to 11th by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and provincial People’s Committee.
The event to popularise and honour tea products and culture of Thai Nguyen province in particular and Vietnam in general, includes Tea Culture Festival, Thai Nguyen Tea Carnaval, Miss of the Tea Land, exhibitions, local market to introduce tea products as well as sports activities.
According to the organizing panel, besides 34 Vietnamese tea growing localities, China, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Sri Lanka and Parkistan, the main importers of Vietnamese tea will be invited to join the big event.
The festival’s opening ceremony will take place in Ho Nui Coc Tourism Area and be broadcast live at 8.pm on November 9th on Vietnam Television Chanel 1.
