Troops help build new rural areas

PANO – More than 100 cadres and troops from the Air Defence Brigade 77 of the Military Zone 7 worked with local authorities, people and youth of Mui Lon 1 hamlet, Tan An Hoi commune, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City to build local roads on August 31st.

The activity was part of activities to mark 68th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day and in an effort to raise troops’ awareness and responsibility, promote army-civilian solidarity as well as further beautify the image of Uncle Ho’s solders.


Colonel Le Thanh Quy, Commissar of the Brigade said that over the past time, the unit has organised cultural exchanges and activities to help local Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and launched the amulation, “40 days and nights of model actions” to celebrate its 40th founding anniversary.


The same day, Regiment 19 of Division 968 mobilised 200 cadres and troops to work with lcoal authorities of Cam Tuyen commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province to build 1.000 metter of local road and improve and dredge 500 metter of irrigation canal in response to the movement, “Army joins hand to build new rural areas”.
