VGP – Viet Nam has introduced a project to provide vocational training to 2.45 million rural people by 2015, according to the Director of the General Department of Vocational Training, Duong Duc Lan.
Under the project, the country will spend VND 6,959 billion on upgrading facilities and training materials for local vocational establishments with a hope that 78% of laborers could get jobs after training courses.
As of July this year, some 1,375 training centers had been asked to join the project and over 10,000 rural laborers completed training courses, statistics show./.
