HCMC- Henry Saiz Album World Tour 2013

Henry Saiz’s world tour will stop in HCM City on September 13th as a part of his album launch and world tour. Amazing band perform as he delivers one of his explosive DJ sets.


Tickets cost VND 250,000 for bookings in advanced and VND 350,000 at the door.

Exhibition “Born in 1983/ Kham Thien”

Exhibition: Sep 5 – 28, L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street


An installation art exhibition of artist Bang Nhat Linh, which will display the objects whose utility had been transformed by users.


The artists recycles objects left over from the war (aircraft debris, sandbags, bullet casings, etc) into useful materials.


This exhibition aims to narrow the gap between the post-war generation and the ones that experience this hard period and endure all the sufferings till today.

Hanoi-Exhibition “Stories about Villages”


Until Sep 18, Casa Italia, 18 Le Phung Hieu Street


An exhibition by the Vietnamese artist Ta Thi Thanh Tam. Featuring Vietnamese countryside from a very special point of view.


Her works, painted on paper and lacquer, portray in a colorful way figures and traditions of the Vietnamese villages: dances, processions, rural and interiors scenes.

FESTIVALS


HCMC- “Our House” festival for foreign expats


September 10-12, Van Thanh tourist resort, 48/10 Dien Bien Phu Street, Binh Thanh District


In an attempt to attract foreign communities, the programme will include a traditional Vietnamese ethnic group costume display, an art performances and a “Favourite Song” competition.


Foreign nationals will be allocated space to celebrate their own culture and cuisine and have the chance to try their hands in a traditional Vietnamese cooking contest.

Hanoi Slam Program “Lost in Translation”


Sep 11, 8 pm, ATK, 73a Mai Hac De Street


Competitive story telling involves contestants telling true stories based on our theme, live and without notes! The show proved to be spontaneous, entertaining and just a little bit tipsy. For this event, have Jordan Senior headline, with a set of lively folk and likely narratives.


Hanoi Slam is completely non-profit. All door proceeds will benefit Humanitarian Services for Children of Vietnam (HSCV).
