In the morning of 28 October, the Golden Heart Fund of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper in combination with Provincial Labour Union donated the new fishing vessel with its capacity of 600CV worth more than 5 billion dong to the An Hai fisheries trade union of Ly Son district.
This fishing vessel is newly built from the support of the program “contributing to fishing nets” launched by the Vietnam General Labor Federation.
The fishing vessel will be handed over to the outstanding fishermen of the An Hai fisheries trade union for fishing.
Reportedly, since its establishment, the Golden Heart Fund has implemented many practical support programs such as donating 7,500 jackets, 3,000 emergency medicine cabinets and giving cash (2 billion dong) to fishermen in distress in provinces of Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
