Under a program of Oxfam Solidarity Belgium (OSB), the Labour Union of Haiphong Economic Zone Authority recently organized a training course on skills and methods of labour sanitation and safety for staffs of union branches and key workers of 7 electronic companies in industrial zones, including RorzeRobotech, Sumida, Tohoku Pioneer, Sumirubber Vietnam, Synztec, Korg Vietnam and Kyocera.
Within 2 days of training, staffs of union branches and key workers of 7 companies studied lessons on overview of Vietnam laws and policies on labour sanitation and safety, risks of labour sanitation and safety, risk management of labour sanitation and safety, risk analysis and control of labour sanitation and safety, etc.
The training course aims to equip labour unions’ staffs and workers with essential knowledge to improve their awareness on ensuring labour sanitation and safety, minimizing risks of workplace accidents and occupational diseases, and creating a safe and friendly workplace environment.
