(VEN) – The Water Technology and Environment Control Exhibition and Conference (WATEC) will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel, from October 22-24, 2013.
WATEC is a biennial event. In 2011, WATEC attracted 27,000 visitors from 104 countries in the world and the participation of 270 businesses. WATEC Israel 2011 was attended by 40 ministers of water resource management from five continents.
WATEC Organizing Board Chairman Shimon Tal said that reducing the pressure on natural resources and ensuring effective exploitation of natural resources such as water, land, energy and minerals is very important. New technologies and smart solutions have contributed two thirds of the amount of water required in the world for the next three decades. The development of the Israeli water sector, based on the experiences of managing exhausted water resources, has been internationally recognized. WATEC 2013 will be a meeting place of politicians, researchers and businesspeople from many countries and territories in the world.
