The total prize fund for the contest organized by the HCMC Tourism Association, Minh Long Ceramics and Porcelain Company and Business Study and Supporting Center is VND2 billion.
According to organizers, there are 195 teams nationwide competing in qualifying rounds in Dong Thap, Can Tho, HCMC, the Central Highlands and the south central region. Next destinations will be Hanoi, the north central region and the southeastern region.
The award ceremony will take place in HCMC on January 14. The winning team will take home VND500 million in cash and VND500 million in products. The organizers expect to hold the event annually to honor outstanding chefs and to introduce healthy and nutritious food to consumers.
