A painting exhibition on ancient villas in the resort town of Da Lat opened in Da Lat City in the central highland province of Lam Dong on November 2.
The 120 paintings at the exhibition, which are mostly on ancient villas of Da Lat, show the artist Vi Quoc Hiep’s love, fascination and preoccupation of the highland area in the last 35 years.
So far he has created hundreds of pictures of Da lat ancient villas presenting different beautiful aspects of different moments, such as in the fall, in the early misty morning, in the season of Cuc Quy (wild sunflower).
The display aims to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Da Lat City. The Vietnam Record Organization (VietKing) also recognized the portrait of Doctor Yersin at the opening ceremony, made of more than 10,000 beans by the painter.
The exhibition will run until November 12.
