PANO – The Medical Department of Ministry of National Defence, local military units and authorities of Hung Yen province recently handed over two gratitude houses to war invalid Pham Van Hien in La Tien hamlet, Nguyen Hoa commune, Phu Cu district, and Ms. Pham Thi Lai, a martyr’s wife, in Vinh Loc hamlet, Tan Tien commune, Van Giang district.
On the occasion, the department and local authorities also presented a TV set and gifts to each family.
* Regiment 293 of Division 361 under the Air Defence-Air Forces Service presented a comradeship house to the family of Captain Do Van Bay, a non-commissioned officer of the Regiment’s Radar Post 62, who had finished a three-year assignment on Truong Sa islands.
The 60sq.m house, built at a cost of VND 200 million, aims to ease his family’s difficulties.
