PANO – The General Department of Tourism of the Republic of Korea (RoK) in Vietnam has introduced the tourism potential of the country’s Gyeonggi province to Vietnam’s travel agencies.
Gyeonggi, the RoK’s largest province, was seen as a cultural and historical hub in the RoK.
It not only maintains valuable historical sites such as the Hwaseong fortress and Yongin folk village under the Silla kingdom (57BC-935AD), one of the world’s longest dynasties, but also is famous for some attractive places like Everland, the 4th biggest park worldwide, as well as for local specialities (Makgeolli rice wine and barbecued pork chop) and international-standard healthcare centres and hospitals.
The presentation helped Vietnamese travel agencies learn more about and promote tourism cooperation with Gyeonggi’s partners, and offered Vietnamese tourists a chance to have many interesting experience while visiting the RoK.
