PANO – The rescue team found the body of a man, who died after rescuing troubled fishermen, 1km from Xuan Thanh coast in Ha Tinh province at 2pm of December 3rd.

Earlier, on November 30th, Pham Van Thoi, Tran Van Tho, Tran Van Huong and Nguyen Van Hien from Xuan Yen commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province, rescued two fishermen from a trawler capsized by high waves.
When they returned to the scene to continue searching for other fishermen, their boat was also sunk due to the bad weather, and Thoi went missing, while the others were able to swim ashore.
Local people were impressed by their brave act.
The People’s Committee of Xuan Yen commune has suggested the Nghi Xuan People’s Committee to posthumously grant Thoi a merit certificate.
