Coastal erosion in Tien Duc hamlet. Tidal erosion washed away chunks of valuable property and crops on Tuesday in parts of central Binh Thuan Province’s Phan Thiet City. According to statistics, the storm collapsed or damaged 18 houses, while more than 90 houses were at risk of falling over at any time. People have cleared land to build temporary shelters and local authorities have mobilised militia forces to provide support to affected residents. — VNA/VNS Photo Nguyen Thanh
