HA NOI — The Viet Nam Expressway Corporation (VEC) on Thursday informed the Transport Ministry that action has been taken against 11 persons after substandard poles were found being used in expressway construction.
The ministry’s inspectors discovered the substandard concrete poles in a section of the HCM City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway that is currently under construction. VEC is an investor in the project.
The construction team is henceforth banned from participating in all projects where VEC is an investor. — VNS
