PANO – Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, on December 11th worked with Hanoi Capital Command and inspected Armoured Battalion 47.
Over the past five years, the command has actively provided staff work on local military and defence missions for the city Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee, mobilized 150,000 troops and vehicles for rescue missions, detected and cleared 1,214 bombs and mines, conducted 534 exercises at deferent levels, and opened military and defence training courses for cadres.
It also paid attention to raising the quality of the combat readiness while strictly maintaining regulations and disciplines.
