PANO – Various activities to honour the great contributions of General Nguyen Chi Thanh to the revolutionary cause of Vietnam in general, and his homeland in Thua Thien-Hue province in particular, will be organized in Thua Thien Hue and Hanoi from December 22nd, 2013 to January 9th, 2014, on his 100th birth anniversary.

Accordingly, there will be a scientific conference, “General Nguyen Chi Thanh with the revolutionary cause of Vietnam and Thua Thien-Hue province”, a historical documentary about the life and revolutionary career of General Nguyen Chi Thanh, release of books and stamp collection about the General, “General Nguyen Chi Thanh – Bright and pure as pearl” drama and exhibition on his life and career. His statue will be also built in his hometown.
The main activity is the celebration at Thua Thien-Hue provincial Culture and Information Centre on December 31st.
