The plan to support flood victims (14-16 November) was agreed in the recent meeting between the provincial People’s Committee and the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee on December 02.
Accordingly, the supporting plan will be carried out basing on the report on damage statistics issued by People’s Committee of districts and city.
The provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee will allocate fund at the soonest to settle losses for people at the most-hit areas in the whole province.
Households with 70% damage and over will be supported VND 30 million in mountainous districts and VND 25 million in rural districts.
Households with under 70% damage; loses in castles, farming land… will be supported basing on the specific statistics of localities.
The province also supports 15kg rice per month per person within 03 months depending on damage level, applying to households with property damage.
Chairman of the PPC also decided to use the provincial budget to purchase 400tons of seed rice in order to assist farmers in the upcoming Winter-Spring crop.
At the meeting, representative of PVFFC informed that, by 28 November 2013, the provincial Rescue Fund has received aid from organizations and individuals with the total cash of VND 15.5 billion.
