Focusing on deploying the solutions in order to stabilize the economy, ensure the suitable growth, control the inflation, facilitate businesses, the provincial economy growth remains positive.
Provincial GDP was estimated to achieve VND 11,139.632 billion, an increase of 11.5% in comparison of 2012, and rose 4.0% of the yearly plan, in which, industry-construction increased by 7.6%, service met the plan, and agriculture rose 1.0% of the plan.
Despite facing many challenges, the provincial growth was stably maintained. Industrial production value was estimated to reach VND 21,598.35 billion, an increase of 15.5% year-on-year, and rose 9.3% of the yearly plan. In which, the foreign economy sector rose 20.6% year-on-year; domestic economy sector increased 14.3% year-on-year.
The high industrial production value in 2013 mainly thanked to the stable operation of Dung Quat Refinery with the total capacity at 6.37 million tons.
Total retail goods and service was estimated approximately VND 29,830 billion, a rise of 15.4% in comparison with last year and accounting 100.1% of the plan.
CPI of 10 months of 2013 rose by 5.48% in comparison of the same period last year.
Export turnover obtained US $450 million, a rise of 5.1% year-on-year and exceed 20% of the plan. Import turnover reached US $911 million, a decrease of 12.4% year-on-year and accounting for 85.1% of the plan.
The total investment and development capital was estimated to reach VND 11.750 billion, an increase of 1.7% in comparison with 2012 and achieved 101.7% of the plan. Investment capitals from state budget and Government Bonds in 2013 were VND 1,759.624 billion. Besides, in 2013, the province also allocated VND 112 billion from preferential loans capital and VND 128 billion of Government Bonds 2014 in order to implement the New Rural Construction project and some other important programs of the province.
The implementation capital of FDI’s projects in 2013 was US $45.5 million which mainly from VISIP and RIEKER project, increasing 47.4% year-on-year. In 2013, 08 new projects were granted Investment Certificates with the registered capital of US $116 million.
Till 2013, there are 27 FDI’s projects in the whole province with the total registered capital of US $4,022.5 million.
Besides, domestic investment in 2013 attracted 25 projects. The province also revoked 16 under-schedule projects with the total registered capital of VND 4,574 billion.
